Did any of your plans for 2019 include adopting healthier eating habits? In theory it seems like an easy thing to do, but practically it can actually be very hard.

With so much information available right at your fingertips, you would think that educating yourself and getting on the path to a healthier lifestyle would be a seamless transition. Finding a balance and peace with your dietary choices it a tough task. 

Best advice?  If you are looking to change your eating habits, consider it a lifestyle change and not a diet.  Start adopting smaller changes and then when you feel ready you can make bigger steps.  You can consider a sugar detox and learn about ways to get healthier outside of your eating habits. Educating yourself is a great first step.  Just remember, don't take it too seriously.  Life is all about balance and finding peace with your dietary choices. Any steps forward you make are progress.

As a former nutritionist and health coach, I certainly agree with the last statement above.  Consuming too much sugar can have damaging effects on many aspects of your health.  If you are looking to make 2019 the year you get healthier, you should really consider detoxing your body from sugar.
