Many of us are in the one-month mark of social distancing.
How are you holding up? Are you the type to forget which day you showered and the last time you switched out your pajama pants? Or, are you the type that will return to our "new normal" with a rockin' bod and a new passion for Crossfit? Either way, social distancing has totally rocked our world, and not necessarily in the way we usually like to get rocked.
Some of us are using this time to start businesses, build the ones we already have, or change a lifestyle habit. Others are wandering around trying to find some sense of normalcy in an otherwise abnormal way of life.
Despite what the memes on "Karen's" page may be suggesting to us, I'm going to let you in on a little secret: There is no right way to do this. None of us have ever been through a pandemic that all but shut down the entire country for weeks. Unless, of course, you were alive and thriving during the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic.
If you wake up each day and find something for which to be grateful, then you're doing it right. Give yourself some grace and give yourself permission to be gentle with yourself, if that's what you feel that you need. Hang in there. We're all in this together.
