Hello Thursday! I have a very important word for you today... COFFEE Did you know that this coming Saturday (September 29) is National Coffee Day? Well in case you didn't, let this serve as your official public service announcement. You're welcome. You know the saying "American runs on Dunkin"? Well, in my head it actually reads "Jessica runs on coffee." On my Instagram where profile it says "will travel for coffee," I mean it. One of the first things I do anytime I go somewhere new is seek out the best of the best coffee shops. In just the last 3 months I have sought out amazing coffee shops in Kauai, Columbus, Hartford, New Haven, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cleveland, New York City and many many places on my travels in between. Like many of you, I truly do love a great cup of coffee. I also love to know where my coffee comes from. I prefer to frequent local coffee shops and roasters who are transparent about where their beans come from and who take the time to seek out and use coffee that has been produced to fair rate standards. While I consider myself a real coffee connoisseur, I am certainly not one to pass up sharing a FREE COFFEE DEAL. Make your way to Krispy Kreme this Saturday for your FREE CUP OF JOE. Bring along the little ones so they can try their limited time only coffee glazed donuts. FUN COFFEE FACT: Dark roasts have less caffeine than light roasts. Remember this when your barista asks if you'd like a light or a dark roast. May you're coffee be strong, and your Wednesday be short. -JESSI |
